Financial struggles are something that have plagued my entire life but it has never been something that has caused my faith to waiver. In fact, if anything, financial struggles should strengthen your faith. But let’s not get ahead of ourselves here, first let’s define faith.
According to Hebrews 11:1, Faith is the substance of things hoped for. The evidence of things not seen in other words is putting complete trust in the promises and will of God even without proof.

As teenagers, situations oftentimes feel more stressful than we believe they should. Whether it be schoolwork, dealing with issues in your family, pressure from your social circles or just trying to stay on top of everything. We find ourselves drained and most of all scared to actually deal with them at all. Being completely honest we aren't always motivated to complete assignments and it seems that dealing with ”friend problems” in this generation usually equates to ”causing trouble”. (1 Samuel 17)
Does speaking in public fill you with fear and anxiety?
If your answer is yes, you are not alone. Fear is a common tendency among human beings and other living things. The Merriam Webster dictionary defines fear as; “An unpleasant often strong emotion caused by anticipation or awareness of danger.” The fear of public speaking otherwise called Glossophobia, is a very common phobia and one that is believed to affect up to 75% of the population.
Some individuals may feel a slight nervousness at the very thought of public speaking, while others experience full-on panic and fear. They may try to avoid public speaking situations at all cost or if they must speak in public, they endure shaking hands and a weak, quavering voice.
It was on January 2015, while I was a sophomore student at Northern Caribbean University. I walked into my Oral Communication class for the first time. I felt very fearful. The negative testimonies of students who had previously done the course, swamped out my mind.
 A canyon is a deep, narrow passage cut through the surface of the Earth with steep cliffs on both sides(“Canyon”).The Grand Canyon in Arizona is 277 miles long, up to 18 miles wide and 6,093 feet deep! (Wikipedia contributors)😮🤯 Falling from a cliff in a place with such depth is essentially a death sentence! However, before wonders of the Earth such as the Grand Canyon were discovered, a GREAT fall ocurred. The greatest and most detrimental fall, to me, would have to be Satan´s fall from heaven. Once called Lucifer meaning ¨star of the morning¨, he was the guardian cherub...beautiful...wise and well...Perfect! (just as ALL of God´s creation at that time). However, his sin led to his great fall noo his CRASH LANDING from heaven to Earth.   What is Pride? Well, pride can be defined in two ways dending on the context...
1.Pride can involve being satisfied with something you have done or something that you own or something that you may deserve credit for; essentially self respect. I see this as positive pride, its important to be able to appreciate the fruit of your labour and see value in youself and your accomplishments. 2. Pride can also mean that you have an exaggerated opinion of your importance, merit or superiority to others; you radiate arrogance. People who have negative pride might not respect or find value in other people and what they do but rather only appreciate their own efforts. One may put oneself above those who are not as ¨great¨ which is basically everyone. Someone who thinks they are absolutely amazing and is never afraid to remind you EVERY.SECOND. OF.THE.DAY.? Someone who constantly questions the intelligence and worth of those around/him or her and thinks they are too good or important to be caught in ¨peasant activities¨? Well, your friend may be suffering from the disease of PRIDE and, on the other hand, if any of these scenarios ring a bell when it comes to your character....sorry to break it to ya but you might be infected too😬.
