As teenagers, situations oftentimes feel more stressful than we believe they should. Whether it be schoolwork, dealing with issues in your family, pressure from your social circles or just trying to stay on top of everything. We find ourselves drained and most of all scared to actually deal with them at all. Being completely honest we aren't always motivated to complete assignments and it seems that dealing with ”friend problems” in this generation usually equates to ”causing trouble”. (1 Samuel 17) David was small and frail in comparison to the BIG GIANT Goliath but he had the courage and bravery like none other. He went in, not even dressed in the protective gear the soldiers wore, but with determination that he would prevail even though everyone else thought it was impossible. In the end, he was victorious and overcame despite the odds. These obstacles in our lives could be called our Giants. Though the circumstances may seem BIG and you aren't seeing the winning path so clear or even possible from where you are standing right now, 2 Timothy 1:7 says: ”For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” Take whatever your stones are, place them in your slingshot, and trust that God will perfect your aim. Through prayer supplication and the strength of your faith, through dedication determination and hard work, watch your Giants fall one by one.
